rapid response times.
Support is available during normal business hours, 8.00 – 12.00 and 13.00-17.00, by phone and e-mail. It is our intention to respond to support cases within two hours during normal business hours at working days. Anybody working at licensees site using licensees license may contact support. Those who contact support are assumed to have a knowledge level in using the software corresponding to a basic training course.

WebEx
In addition to common support procedures such as phone and email,
we also offer support services with the web meeting tool WebEx.
This makes the support to our customers even more effective.
They are able to follow the explanations of the support engineers
on their computer screens and vice versa. The effectiveness of solving
the cases increases considerably WebEx is the next best way of
solving cases after on-site support.

How to use our ftp server

To use our ftp server, you need to get a username and password from us. Send an email to support@medeso.se with your name, company and customer number and ask for the ftp password.

Download
Downloading files from ftp.medeso.se can easily be done with any web browser or ftp program. Examples of suitable programs are Internet Explorer, Netscape or Cute FTP.

Then log on with one of the following methods depending on the browser;

1. In the Address bar type the Internet address (URL) ftp://ftp.medeso,se/ When the login window appears, type in the username and password you got from us.

2. Type the following in the addressbar; ftp://username:password@ftp.medeso.se/

After logging in, browse to the file of interest and choose download or copy file to folder. All files for download can be found under the /pub directory.

Upload
In order to upload files to ftp.medeso.se you must use a real ftp client, a web browser will not work. A simple command based ftp client is included with the operating system and can be started by typing "ftp" in a command window. Free, GUI enhanced ftp clients like Cute FTP or FTP Explorer, both for Windows can be downloaded from internet. Log in with the user name and password that was sent to you. Files may only be uploaded to the "/pub/incoming" folder.

For security reasons you will not be able to see any files in the incoming directory, not even your own. Please inform a Medeso employee as soon as you have uploaded material to our ftp server.
