Path and environment names in Workbench v11 Files are stored differently in version 11 of Workbench compared to previous versions. This means that on some systems, using Environment names that are very long or contain characters such as ":" can cause problems. It is therefore recommended to use alphanumeric characters and avoid excessively long environment names. Using manual ANSYS memory settings to improve performance With large models, it can happen that solution will be extremely slow because temporary results are constantly written to the hard disk drive, or the model may not even be possible to solve at all. To some extent, performance can be improved by manually configuring the ANSYS memory settings "workspace" and "database". These methods can be used in both ANSYS Classic and ANSYS Workbench.
